Castle Creations's speed controls and motors are some of the best in the industry. But sometimes they can be a pain to troubleshoot. What follows is a guide for the various different configurations of blinking lights you might get on your Castle Creations speed control. Please note that these only apply to their surface (car, truck, buggy) speed controls.

When Not Calibrating & No Throttle Input
Flashing Red & Yellow
ESC has entered
Thermal Shutdown mode
Solid Green
Should not occur when at neutral
Indicates full throttle input
Solid Yellow
Indicates the ESC is
neutral and armed.
Flashing Green & Yellow
ESC has entered
Low-Voltage Cutoff mode
Solid Red
Should not occur when at neutral
Indicates full reverse input
Flashing Green, Yellow, & Red
ESC is not receiving valid radio signal
possible problem with ESC or radio
Flashing Green OR Red
ESC not calibrated/armed OR throttle sub-trim is not "0"
Flashing Yellow
Indicates a possible
problem with the ESC
When Not Calibrating & Applying Throttle/Reverse
Flashing Red & Yellow
ESC has entered
